Fostering Leadership Through Democracy
The Children’s Parliament of St. Ignatius Convent Hr. Sec. School, Palayamkottai, was established in the academic year 2017–2018 under the inspiring guidance of our Headmistress Rev. Sr. L. During these sessions, they plan and implement practical solutions to improve the school environment — addressing matters such as discipline, cleanliness, communication, and student welfare — all through democratic dialogue and consensus.

Members help maintain order during assemblies and breaks, ensuring students stand in line, follow discipline, and contribute to keeping the campus clean and eco-friendly. - Information & Awareness:
Student ministers collect important news updates and display them on the school notice board. They also organize quiz competitions and awareness programs to enhance general knowledge and current affairs awareness. - Social Support & Charity:
With compassion and teamwork, members raise funds from teachers and peers to support economically weaker students by providing notebooks, uniforms, stationery, and occasional medical assistance.
